LOCA PAY supports familiar international channels such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, UnionPay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Revolut, Wise, TrueMoney Mastercard, and eligible crypto virtual cards, subject to issuer approval. Alipay, USDC, and Kakao Pay are marked as coming soon.

I do not want to link my card to LOCA PAY. What are my options?

You can use Apple Pay or Google Pay instead, then approve each transaction securely from your own device. Kakao Pay and Alipay are coming soon.

Do I need to top up money into LOCA PAY?

No. LOCA PAY does not require a stored balance or prepaid top-up. You pay using your existing card or supported wallet, and LOCA PAY bridges that payment to participating LAO QR merchants.

Can I use crypto with LOCA PAY?

Crypto can work through crypto virtual cards. If your crypto wallet or exchange issues a Visa or Mastercard virtual card, including providers such as Cypher Wallet, you can use that card channel with LOCA PAY where issuer approval, card region, and KYC requirements are supported.
