LOCA is proud to announce a historic milestone in the development of electric mobility in Lao PDR: our EV charging network now fully covers all 18 provinces nationwide with total of 78 stations, making LOCA the first company in Laos to achieve this remarkable feat.
What once seemed impossible has now become reality. When LOCA began its journey to build EV infrastructure in Laos, many questioned whether such an ambitious vision could ever be achieved. Building a reliable charging network across a developing market, across mountains, long highways, and distant provinces, was never the easy path. But at LOCA, we believed that if Laos was to truly move toward a cleaner and more connected future, the country needed infrastructure that could serve everyone, not just a few major cities.
Today, that belief has turned into action. With a total of 78 charging stations across the country and continuing to grow, LOCA has laid the foundation for a new era of transportation in Laos. This milestone is not just about technology or stations on a map. It is about giving people confidence that electric travel is possible, practical, and ready now. It is about connecting communities, supporting drivers, enabling tourism, and helping move the nation toward a more sustainable future.
This achievement belongs not only to LOCA, but to everyone who has been part of this journey. It belongs to the customers who chose to believe in EVs early. It belongs to the drivers who made the transition. It belongs to our partners, our team, and the communities across Laos that welcomed this change. Together, we have proven that Laos can lead, innovate, and build for the future.
And this is only the beginning.
The next phase of LOCA’s EV charging network will focus on strengthening province-to-province connectivity, adding more charging capacity in high-demand areas, and making long-distance EV travel even more seamless. Our ultimate goal is clear: to establish a fast charging station every 50 kilometers or less along major inter-province travel routes. This will ensure that EV drivers across Laos can travel farther, more confidently, and with greater convenience than ever before.
