Due to overwhelming customer demand and the ongoing increase in ridership, there have been periods when the number of LOCA MINI vehicles was insufficient to meet customer needs.

To support this growth, LOCA has decided to partner with Kaiyi Auto Laos to introduce a new fleet of LOCA MINI taxis using the Kaiyi e-Qute 04, providing greater comfort and an improved travel experience while maintaining affordable pricing for customers.

The new model offers a more spacious interior, delivering enhanced comfort for passengers while preserving LOCA MINI’s key advantage: affordable, accessible, and safe transportation.

In addition to its affordability and compact city-friendly design, LOCA MINI is also built to provide comfort and safety for passengers in all weather conditions. All vehicles are equipped with air conditioning and PM2.5 air filtration systems, helping protect passengers during hot weather, rainy seasons, and in areas affected by pollution — ensuring every ride is clean, safe, and comfortable.

LOCA and Kaiyi Auto will officially launch the new LOCA MINI model on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

LOCA MINI is a 100% electric vehicle (EV) ride-hailing service focused on affordability, convenience, and environmentally friendly transportation, making it one of the fastest-growing services on the LOCA platform.
