Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR – May 29, 2026 — LOCA and M moneyX (Lao Mobile Money Sole Company Limited) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and launched their strategic partnership at the Lao Telecom Headquarters. The collaboration aims to elevate the travel experience and digital payment ecosystem across the Lao PDR.

Under this partnership, users can now book LOCA Taxi services directly through the M moneyX application and conveniently pay for rides cashlessly using the M moneyX Wallet. This integration provides a seamless, secure, and modern transportation experience for users.

Beyond ride-hailing services, the collaboration also extends to LOCA EV charging stations, which currently operate across all 18 provinces of Laos, making it the country’s most extensive EV charging network. Electric vehicle users charging through LOCA EV can now make payments instantly via M MoneyX, offering greater convenience while supporting the growth of the EV ecosystem in Laos.

The partnership reflects a shared vision of integrating mobility services with digital financial technology to improve consumers’ quality of life and accelerate the adoption of a cashless society nationwide.
